See the Difference in Person
Choosing cabinetry involves decisions that are difficult to make from photographs alone. Finish texture, material depth, hardware, proportions, interior organization, door movement, storage systems, and the relationship between different surfaces are easier to understand when they can be experienced in person.
At Foscari’s Houston showroom, homeowners, architects, builders, and design professionals can explore cabinetry for kitchens, bathrooms, closets, living spaces, and whole-home projects while discussing the requirements of the project directly with the Foscari design team.
The showroom is not simply a place to select a door color. It is where cabinetry, materials, layout, storage, appliances, architectural conditions, and the broader interior can begin to come together as one design.
Kitchens
The kitchen displays give clients an opportunity to compare modern cabinetry at a level that photographs cannot fully communicate. Depending on the needs of the project, Foscari can help clients explore European, Italian, and custom cabinetry approaches, along with different finish programs, storage configurations, hardware, and levels of customization.
For a new kitchen, renovation, or custom home, the discussion can also include appliance integration, island design, tall cabinetry, interior organization, material combinations, and how the kitchen cabinetry will relate to countertops, lighting, flooring, and adjacent living spaces.
Bathrooms
Bathroom cabinetry has to balance appearance with storage, plumbing conditions, countertop dimensions, daily use, and the proportions of the room. At the showroom, clients can explore how floating vanities, full-height storage, double-vanity configurations, finishes, hardware, and integrated cabinetry can be developed around a particular bathroom.
For projects involving more than one room, bathroom cabinetry and custom vanities can also be considered alongside the kitchen, closets, and other built-in spaces so materials and detailing feel intentional throughout the home.
Closets & Wardrobes
Closets and wardrobes can be designed as architectural storage rather than simply collections of shelves and hanging rods. Visitors can explore custom closets and wardrobe systems, walk-in configurations, hinged and sliding storage, interior organization, finishes, accessories, and the relationship between cabinetry and the surrounding bedroom or dressing area.
Foscari works with manufacturers including Kico Italy and Johnson for modern wardrobe and storage applications, allowing the design team to evaluate different systems according to the size, design direction, organization requirements, and level of customization of the project.
Whole-Home Cabinetry
For custom homes and larger renovations, cabinetry often extends well beyond the kitchen. Foscari can help coordinate whole-home cabinetry across kitchens, bathrooms, closets, home bars, living areas, offices, entertainment spaces, and other built-in applications.
Seeing materials and cabinetry together in the showroom makes it easier to consider whether finishes should repeat from room to room, where contrast makes sense, and whether different manufacturers should be combined according to the needs of each space. The goal is not necessarily to use one cabinet system everywhere, but to create a consistent architectural language throughout the home.
Materials, Finishes & Details
Materials and finishes can look very different on a screen than they do in an actual room. Color, sheen, texture, grain, reflectivity, edge details, and the way one material responds to another are easier to evaluate when samples and cabinetry can be seen firsthand.
At the showroom, clients can compare cabinetry finishes, materials, colors, hardware, interior storage solutions, and construction details while considering how those selections will work with countertops, flooring, appliances, lighting, and other finishes already planned for the home.
The design team can also help narrow a large range of possibilities into combinations that make sense for the architecture and project goals. Rather than selecting individual finishes in isolation, the objective is to understand how the cabinetry will contribute to the complete space.
Meet With Our Design Team
A showroom consultation can begin at different stages of a project. Some clients arrive with architectural plans, appliance specifications, room dimensions, and a defined design direction. Others are still deciding what they want the kitchen, bathroom, closet, or larger interior to become.
If you have them, bring architectural plans, measurements, appliance information, photographs of the existing space, finish selections, or images that help communicate your design preferences. If the project is still early, simply bring an idea of the rooms you want to address and the way you want them to function.
The Foscari team can use that information to discuss layout, cabinetry systems, manufacturers, materials, storage priorities, project scope, and the next steps required to begin developing the design.
