What Your Contractor Typically Handles
Demolition, structural changes, plumbing, electrical, drywall, flooring and painting are usually handled by your general contractor and trades. Foscari’s drawings give them precise locations for drains, supply lines, outlets, lighting and appliance connections, which reduces surprises and change orders.

Step by Step
1. In-home consultation
For remodels, we recommend starting with a complimentary consultation in your home. Our designers take measurements, look at the existing layout, plumbing and windows, and talk through what is not working today and what you want the new kitchen to do.
2. Design proposal
We prepare one or more design proposals with floor plans, elevations and 3D renderings, along with pricing, so you can understand the options and costs.
3. Design development
We refine the design together through meetings at our showroom, in your home or online, selecting finishes, interior fittings, countertops and appliances.
4. Final documentation and ordering
Once every detail is approved, we finalize the drawings and place the order. Cabinetry is made for your kitchen, so orders cannot be returned once in production.
5. Production and site work
While cabinets are produced, typically 12–18 weeks depending on the line, your contractor can complete demolition and rough-in using our drawings.
6. Delivery and installation
Foscari delivers and installs the cabinetry. Local delivery in Houston starts at $695 for a single area. Countertops are templated after the cabinets are installed.

Can I keep my existing appliances?
Yes. We can design the new cabinetry around your current appliances, or plan for new ones.
Should I change the layout?
Sometimes keeping plumbing and appliances in place saves cost. Sometimes the old layout is the problem. One Memorial homeowner, rebuilding after Hurricane Harvey, used the remodel to remove the wall between the kitchen and living area. In their review they wrote that Foscari “transformed our kitchen in a way we could never have imagined.”
How long will I be without a kitchen?
Most of the cabinet production time happens before demolition needs to start, so with good planning the period without a working kitchen is mainly the construction and installation phase. Your contractor can give you that schedule.
