The vanity is the piece of furniture that defines a bathroom. It sets the style, holds most of the storage and takes more daily wear than almost anything else in the house.
Foscari Interiors designs and supplies bathroom vanities for primary bathrooms, guest baths and powder rooms across Houston. This guide explains what we offer, how the options differ and how a vanity project works.
Two Ways to Do a Vanity at Foscari
1. Italian bathroom furniture from Casabath
Casabath has made bathroom furniture in Italy since 1987 and controls its entire production cycle, from custom aluminum profiles to its own solid-surface materials: Monolith, Stonelith and Solid Granite. Because Casabath makes both the furniture and the surfaces, its vanities can include integrated sinks and tops, and coordinate with its freestanding monolith bathtubs.
Casabath suits primary bathrooms designed as a retreat, and modern bathrooms where seamless surfaces matter.
2. Custom cabinetry vanities
Foscari also designs vanities using the same cabinetry lines we use for kitchens and closets, such as TM Italia and Artcraft. This approach is ideal when the vanity should match cabinetry elsewhere in the home, when the space has unusual dimensions, or when the vanity is part of a larger wall of storage.
Many homes use both: a Casabath vanity and tub in the primary bathroom, and coordinated cabinetry vanities in secondary baths.

Vanity Options
Wall-hung or floor-standing
Wall-hung vanities leave the floor visible, which makes a bathroom feel larger and simplifies cleaning. They need solid blocking in the wall and plumbing at the right height. Floor-standing vanities offer more storage and suit more traditional bathrooms.
Single or double
Double vanities are common in Houston primary bathrooms. Some clients prefer two separate vanities on different walls, or one long vanity with a single large sink or two sinks.
Storage inside
Drawers are usually more useful than doors in a vanity. Options include drawers shaped around the plumbing, dividers for cosmetics and grooming tools, built-in outlets, and tall cabinets beside the vanity for towels and supplies.
Tops and sinks
Choices include integrated solid-surface tops with molded sinks, stone countertops with undermount sinks, and vessel sinks. Foscari can coordinate countertops and plumbing fixtures along with the vanity.
Finishes
Wood veneers, matte and gloss lacquers, textured surfaces, aluminum and glass are all available, with the finish often matched to the bedroom closet so the primary suite feels like one design.

Bathrooms and Houston’s Climate
Bathrooms see more moisture than any other room, and Houston adds humidity on top. Good ventilation, prompt drying of splashes and consistent air-conditioning protect any vanity. Solid-surface materials and aluminum profiles are naturally resistant to water, which is one reason Casabath works well in busy bathrooms.
How a Vanity Project Works
- A complimentary consultation at our showroom or in your home
- Design by Foscari’s in-house team, with plans and elevations showing plumbing locations
- Selection of vanity type, finishes, tops and fixtures
- Ordering after approval, since each order is made for the project
- Delivery and installation coordinated by Foscari
Our drawings show your plumber and tile installer exactly where drains, supplies and blocking need to go, which matters especially for wall-hung vanities and freestanding tubs.

Yes. Custom cabinetry vanities can use the same line and finishes as your kitchen or closet.
Do you offer freestanding bathtubs?
Yes, through Casabath, which makes monolith bathtubs in its own solid-surface material.
Are wall-hung vanities a good idea?
They make bathrooms feel larger and are easier to clean around, as long as the wall is prepared to support them.
